Podcasting will kill the radio star.

Back in the old days, everyone was saying the Web would kill off newspapers, classified ads, magazines and almost everything else in print. Then someone else skipped along and said TV (and TV commercials) would drop dead and die. Now, Adam Curry is proclaiming podcasting is going to “kill… radio”, as Dave Whiner robustly rebuts.

I did half-consider pocasting this post for a touch of “The Medium is the Message” sort of irony (and maybe call it the ‘Full Metal Podcast’ to tie in with the irony theme). But I hate the sound of my own voice, I really do, and so it was never really ever going to happen.
