Homage.
While re-organizing my CD collection, I suddenly saw these 2 albums lying next to each other and staring me in the face…
A little bit of Googling led me to a this, which in turn led me to this, both of which have more examples of flattering homage & poor imitations on album covers. Unsurprisingly, the DemonFuzz page has the Simon & Garfunkel and Kruder & Dorfmeister cover art similarity which I stumbled upon, thus depriving me bragging rights for discovering it first.
