Reigning French champions Lyon’s Michael Essien is apparently being tracked by the reigning English champions Chelsea. Despite interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid, he’s quoted as preferring Chelsea because “…they are one of the greatest clubs in Europe.”
Maybe he meant ‘greatest’ in terms of potential weekly wages.
