Advertising blogs.

Welcome to Optimism
The hardworking boys and girls from Wieden + Kennedy London have a nice blog with a lot of real people and pictures. One of my personal favourites… I mean, how can you not like these guys?
tblogwa
Despite being written almost entirely in Portuguese and having a gratuitous Flash masthead, TBWA\Portugal’s blog is filled with interesting work from across their network, most of which doesn’t really require a lengthy description anyway. (Except maybe TBWA\London’s PSP work, which completely eludes me.)

Update (Sept 8): Some nice person from the site wrote to me to point out the existence of the English version of TBWA\Portugal’s blog. My bad.
Ordinary Advertising
Mark Silveira’s book, Ordinary Advertising And How To Avoid it Like The Plague, takes a good whack at ordinary advertising. Mark Silveira’s blog continues that noble cause online with more current examples and a lot of dry humour.
Russell Davies
Most advertising people would tell you that even (or is it especially) while on holiday, the mind can’t really switch off. Russell Davies, an account planner, stands accused.
M&CPLanner
The M&C logo doesn’t seem right, but then again, the folks running this blog are planners, not creatives.
Jaffe Juice
Joseph “New Marketing” Jaffe has an opinion on everything.
Coudal Partners
Believe it or not, the guys behind Jewelboxing, Photoshop Tennis and the upcoming short film, Copy Goes Here, actually run an agency. Where they find all that time, I guess nobody really knows.
Snog Blog
Manic was one of the first local agencies to get on the blogosphere (I hate these new made-up words, but there isn’t really another single word that refers to the totality of weblogs or blog-related websites). Karen seems too busy nowadays to post regularly, which is a pity…
Seth Godin
I’d be lying if I said the author of All Marketers Are Liars didn’t have a blog.
Gaping Void
Hugh Macleod is a ‘blogvertising’ consultant… uhmmm… whatever you say, Hugh.
