Talk of the town.
Google Talk is here. Running off Jabber, Google’s combined instant messaging/net phone system should, in theory, be able to connect to every other IM network out there like MSN Messenger, ICQ, AIM and Yahoo! Messenger. But it is still in its infancy and this possibly killer feature to “connect everyone to everyone” might just take a while to appear. The software currently is Windows only but there are already instructions on how you can connect to Google Talk on your Mac by using the built-in iChat or the excellent AdiumX.
