While researching upgrade options for my old G4 Powermac, I ran across a how-to on upgrading G4 processors on Engadget. One of the commentors said, and I have to agree, that statements like “…we decided on a choice that does not require thermal paste…” make all Mac users sound like lily-livered pansies who are afraid of even a little thermally conductive goo.
