In Bangkok, I…
- ate at Dunkin’ Donuts after many years, as they disappeared from Singapore some time ago.
- drank (too much) Coke from glass bottles and they somehow tasted better.
- bought some nice clothes from Greyhound.
- had an excellent meal at Au Bon Pain which is nowhere to be found here.
- discovered that Bangkok was caught up in RotiBoy mania.
- got a little lost at Jatujak/Chatuchak weekend market.
- watched in disbelief as Djibril Cisse missed an open goal as Liverpool undeservedly lost to the team that Air Asia sponsors.
- saw a Ford Explorer in person and, boy, did it look sweet.
- never spent much on cabs, as our hotel was quite near the well-connected mass transit system.
- didn’t snap even a single picture of any of the things I just mentioned, because I forgot to bring my camera on my 4 day trip.
