If you are looking to set up a Mac based home Media Centre rig, Jon Hicks has a nice hardware and software round-up.
But in all honesty, I think the Wintel-based Origen AE X15 chassis far outstrips the Mac Mini in terms of aesthetics; the mini LCD display is such a killer feature to have.
