If you’re into football and U2, you’re gonna love this: To rouse some interest and excitement in sports-crazy but football-numb America, ESPN and Wieden + Kennedy got our favourite Irish rock stars to provide voiceovers and music for a couple of TV spots to promote the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
But then, no matter what you do, the Americans just don’t get it.
