Random Friday Music: U2.
The First Time, performed at Melbourne on 19 November 2006, which was my first time at a U2 gig. The crowd was in full voice (even when The Edge got the name of the city wrong) and it was a superb experience all-round. There’s nothing like a live gig, and though The Wife (who is also a big U2 fan) and I wish we had gone for one of the ZooTV concerts in the early 90s, we’ll have great memories of this experience for a long, long time.
