Goalposts.
In the German football league, Hamburg SV have scored fewer goals than all the other clubs in the Bundesliga this season, because their goalposts are 5 centimetres shorter than the required standard.
Despite sounding like a “the dog ate my homework” excuse, I completely empathise with them — I haven’t been posting too regularly around here because both my Mac and Windows PC at home have been down intermittently for the last 2-3 weeks (for different reasons).
Ludicrous how goalposts can be short and how two computers can both go down at the same time.
