“What Dell customers really want.” was penned precisely on 21 February, 2007 09:13 AM, which happened to be a Wednesday. but you know what? dullneon.com's random notes has now moved to a new location.
Dell recently launched a Digg-like website, Dell IdeaStorm, to find out what people really want from their (Dell) computers. While it was inevitable people were going to suggest far out ideas, the most popular ideas seem to revolve around having machines pre-installed with Linux and other free software alternatives. I personally like the idea of a Dell with no operating system preloaded onto it, but then again it’s not too hard (and way more fun) to assemble a computer yourself anyway.
this was published on 21 February in the year 2007, which was a Wednesday. anyway, all this is old and archived. everything has been now been moved, so head on down to the revamped almost daily random notes (unless of course you like this old stuff too much to part with it).
