I’ve watched The Shawshank Redemption so many times since it first came out in 1994 and I never get tired of it. Unlike most movies of today, it had no special effects or computer generated graphics. What it had was good dialogue, good sets, an excellent score, a solid story and some great acting. It may not have won anything at the 1995 Academy Awards (well, it was a box office flop) but it definitely has become the people’s choice over the years.
