Turning intrusive banners into art.

I’m quite the fan of Adblock Plus, a quite popular extension for the Firefox browser that filters out advertising banners on websites.

AddArt, on the other hand, aims to do better than just block banners — it replaces advertising banners with ‘art images from a curated database’. A wicked idea, though one hopes this database will not be polluted too quickly by sneaky marketers.
