After collapsing during a match last Saturday of a heart attack, 22-year-old Spanish footballer Antonio Puerta has died in hospital.
It doesn’t seem very long ago that Cameroonian Marc-Vivien Foé and Hungarian Miklós Fehér both died on the football field.
