The end of Snap Shots.
Over the next few hours/days, I’ll be removing the Snap Shots feature I had installed around here for good.
It used to be a cool, nifty and free feature to preview things like an Amazon link or a YouTube video without leaving the page. But now, they have aesthetically fucked it all up with advertising in the previews. I perfectly understand their need to make money, but previews with ads don’t look too awesome on personal websites.
I think Snap Shots would still be OK for link directories, but for now, it’s goodbye Snap.com from dullneon.com (and I’m not the only one, it seems).

this was published on 19 November in the year 2007, which was a Monday. anyway, all this is old and archived. everything has been now been moved, so head on down to the revamped almost daily random notes (unless of course you like this old stuff too much to part with it).
