Neither (Maurice) Lévy nor (Martin) Sorrell fits the stereotype of the admen of yore, who built their agencies on the backs of their creative reputations. Neither has made an ad or managed a marketing campaign. Instead, Sorrell and Lévy have assembled companies that own agencies.
