Stephen Wiltshire is a British artist with an amazing gift. He can eyeball the moxt complex cityscapes and draw them from memory with amazing detail and in almost perfect scale. His panoramic hand-rendering of Tokyo is just hair raising when you realize it was all done from his photographic memory. It’s really no wonder he’s dubbed “The Human Camera”.
Another great street art project called Inner city snail, from the same guy who brought us the awesome Little People. Speaking of which, I think I will go buy the Little People In The City book soon.
An incredibly dedicated and talented dad draws on his kids’ lunch bags everyday. Way to go, dad dude!

Jim Hance does some awesome paintings that blends pop culture icons and parody art (or “twisted art” in the artist’s own words). Stormtrooper Fields Forever is my current favourite though his other works are equally impressive. I’d love to buy one of his pieces one day for my home for sure, and they are very affordable too.

Self-dipping chicken nuggets are but one of the attractions at the new Banksy installation in New York which is contained in a store called The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill. Videos seem to show a great deal more detail, especially the animatronics.

Michel de Broin is a Montreal/Berlin-based sculptor who made the Death Dead Star. Currently on exhibit at the Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology in New York, this piece is a nice way of recharging the life of wasted batteries, eh?
