A National School For Women T-shirt that you can wear out

The A List Apart Survey results are out. Last year, the results were published as a PDF, which was a bit of an anti-climax from a standardista perspective. But this year, they’ve got it all out in bread-and-butter HTML and CSS, the highlight of which has to be Eric A. Meyer’s mind-numbingly beautiful, yet accessible, CSS work for the graphs. Plain insanity, if you ask me, but it’s top-drawer production-grade code.

The Workerman's Rorshach-inspired inkblot t-shirt

If you got a minute, you should check out The Workerman’s T-shirts. Other than two Watchmen inspired T-shirts, he’s got some great typographic t-shirts too!

This is quality stuff: a movie made with origami models that tells the tale of Kihachiro Onitsuka and Asics.

As an aside, I’d just like to announce my displeasure at the quality of some of my recent Threadless T-shirt purchases. The T-shirt quality has become incredibly thinner and shittier and I will not be buying or recommending any Threadless stuff until I hear of improvements.

In case, you didn't know, since yesterday Barack Obama Runs Washington DC. Awesome! Gonna gets me one today (and speak in incorrect grammars)

[Thanks Stevie!]

A drinking glass that no one will swipe from you

Funny idea for a glass design, though I would sniff the drink before consuming from a glass like this.

MS-DOS t-shirt by Microsoft, designed by hip-hop artist Common

This might sound totally weird, but Microsoft just released an exciting line of graphic t-shirts. The designs are a little on the pretentiously hip and retro side, but I have to say some of the t-shirts look pretty sweet. This is gear from Microsoft I would readily buy. Heck, I’m already looking forward to upgrades.

Sweet Creep, on sale for $5 at Threadless

Threadless is having a $5-ish sale now – time to go get some tees!

I’m also digging their new URL structure that allows me to link directly to their $5 T-shirts, $10 T-shirts and $15 T-shirts. Nicely done…

The Grass Roots One Tee, from LRGThe giraffe is the tallest among all land-living animals. Their front legs are slightly longer than their hind legs. Giraffes have highly evolved tongues that can be as long as 50 centimetres. Also, a giraffe’s heart can be massive, weighing up to almost 10 kilograms, because they have generate large pressures to send blood up those long necks.

You should read up more in case you start getting giraffe questions when you wear this LRG t-shirt from Karmaloop. Or you could just tell them you’re a vegan (just like the giraffe).

Funny t-shirt from Eric Rewitzer, thought I think it might have looked better on a lighter, less muddy coloured t-shirt.

And speaking of Obama, it’s good to see him robustly elbowing back the Republican smear campaign.

You may have seen that awesome Beatles t-shirt from Experimental Jetset a couple of years ago.

If you liked that but your musical persuasion happens to be more rap than rock, this Wu Tang Clan t-shirt would be right up your alley.

Shopping bags made from real recycled newspaper
Recycling materials is a great idea, but recycling newspapers into bags while keeping the newsprint intact is quite brilliant! If you are waiting for someone or something and you have this bag with you, you know you will definitely have something to read.

Hello

Most folks who visit random notes seem to hang around for about 9.134 minutes on average.

My name is and I just learned that the hash sign is also known as an octothorp. It's exactly this kind of unnecessary information works its way into conversations that scares people away from me. Not that I am really complaining though…
