Who would have thought Elvis would look this good on a PEZ dispenser!

Amazon Japan has limited edition robot toys made from Amazon shipping boxes for sale at ¥1,000 (about S$15). An authorised customization of the original Revoltech Danboard cardboard robots, the Amazon robots, like the originals, also have a button on the left side of the head which lights up the eyes. Unlike the original toy, I am not sure if this box robot’s can be taken off to reveal any hidden identity — maybe it’d reveal a Japanese looking Jeff Bezos?
Ugh.

Let’s get one thing out of the way – this sweet F1 car steering wheel is a replica that is meant to be displayed on a shelf, not mounted in your car. These are handmade steering wheels from the Mclaren Mercedes, Ferrari, BMW and Red Bull Racing teams but they do jack shit. They cost £1,250 (about S$3,300 which can give me about 40 full tanks of petrol on my car with today’s prices) but you cannot use it in any productive manner whatsoever.
They just sit there.

Did you know George Lucas and his family made cameos in Revenge of the Sith? Are you at all surprised? And more importantly, do you really care?
If you do, you can get the action figures of the Lucas family characters from the Star Wars Shop.

I sure hope the Firebox.com site accepts international credit cards (update: oh baby, yes they do!) because I am so going to order the remote control K.I.T.T. car as soon as I can. It talks and has that snazzy, retro, swooshing red sensor light in front!
Speaking of Knight Rider, I wonder if they’ll show the NBC Knight Rider TV movie here in Singapore…

The PlasmaCar looks like a fantastic toy for the kids and even adults. No need for batteries or any kind of fuel – all it takes is a willing (but not too heavy) driver, some centrifugal force, gravity and friction to get going. I’m going to run down to the nearest Toys R Us soon and get one for myself!
What a cute looking Land Rover! This would make a great gift for kids and in some ways, can be rather educational too. The UNICEF store also has a UNICEF Supply Truck model!
