An incredibly dedicated and talented dad draws on his kids’ lunch bags everyday. Way to go, dad dude!
The XO Laptop, despite all the criticism, is for a noble cause and is a wonderful product. I bought it last year and I’ve had hours of great fun on it – it’s got great battery life, a superb screen that works great outdoors and it’s (almost as) hard as nuts. I can’t wait for our kid to grow up and bang away on it!

The Æsop for Children is just one of many classics, available as free ebooks from Project Gutenberg. The vintage illustrations by Milo Winter (1886-1956), as well as the familair stories, are bound to invoke a fair bit of nostalgia.

The PlasmaCar looks like a fantastic toy for the kids and even adults. No need for batteries or any kind of fuel – all it takes is a willing (but not too heavy) driver, some centrifugal force, gravity and friction to get going. I’m going to run down to the nearest Toys R Us soon and get one for myself!
What a cute looking Land Rover! This would make a great gift for kids and in some ways, can be rather educational too. The UNICEF store also has a UNICEF Supply Truck model!
