Pretty fun, even funny, and beautifully executed but somehow seems a pointless: I really don’t see how sound will make all the difference if I am buying a cupboard.
But, hey… you know… it’s really nice.
Iranian born Swedish producer Aril Brikha’s Ex Machina is filled with groovy beats, fat basslines, trippy strings and ambient soundscapes. Pleasant all-round and never jarring, this is a good album, which is especially enjoyable when you are just spacing out at home on a Friday evening. It’s a pity that, given the high standard of music, the album cover art is a little unremarkable.
