A long glass tube in a forest is not what you’d normally call an office, but it’s home to to architecture practice Selgas Cano in Madrid. A mind-bending idea, executions and photos — I wonder if someone in Singapore would set up something similar on the slopes of Mount Faber or something.

For US$300, you get a 10.66MP 1/2.33-inch CMOS sensor, 5X optical zoom, USB 2.0 connectivity, SD/SDHC memory card support, a stereo mic, mono speaker and a 3-inch TFT screen with this retro-looking baby

That’s a nice looking retro-styled camcorder from Sanyo, isn’t it?

This video has been around for a while and it’s a delightfully executed piece of work featuring Noel Fielding (of The Mighty Boosh). Despite being a big fan of the song and video, how I never got round to linking this earlier completely escapes me.

Awesome (fictional) packaging graphics for Fred and George Weasley's shop from Nicholas Saunders

If you saw or read Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, you’d be familiar with Fred and George’s joke shop, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. For the movie set, four designers (including Nicholas Saunders) spent almost a year imagining and doing up some beautifully crafted packaging for magical products for the young wizards and witches.
