‘Dead Drops’ is an anonymous, real life, peer to peer file-sharing network in public space. It’s a great idea borrowed from the world of espionage for an offline P2P network and maybe even the post box of the future. But I have to say, the combination of malicious people and (Windows) computers which can auto-run executable files on a USB drive upon connection make this for an interesting exercise.
