I really don’t begrudge anyone who moves to another job to win more awards, or to improve professionally, or for better pay. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But there is a right way to do things, if no other reason than to show respect to the erstwhile co-workers you leave behind.
Fernando Torres was great for Liverpool Football Club while it lasted and his goal scoring exploits will always be remembered fondly. But the whole last-minute deadline day manipulation sale has left a bitter, disappointing taste, despite the record amount.
As for this Sunday’s match against Chelsea, I’m channelling a bit of another great ex-Liverpool striker but ‘I would love it if we beat them. Love it!’.
Anyways, I always thought the new Number 9, Andy Carroll, looked a bit like The Highlander with his pony tail. He looks huge next to Dalglish.
